iPhone 5 to only have 16/32GB?

The UK iPhone carrier vodaphone has leaked that the iPhone 5 might only be a 16/32GB capable device. The image you see above comes from the Vodaphone showing off a sort of MIFi type device and showing the compatible devices showing the current iPhone 4 models. That isn’t the thing though the site states the MIFi like device is compatible with the iPhone 5 white/black and 16/32GB. There is nothing saying there is a higher storage. So at least we will get a white iPhone 5 from the launch but we might have to wait another year for a 64Gb iPhone. Hey maybe Apple will surprise us during the music event with a 64Gb model! Never know.

Developers Can you Subscribe to iTunes Match?

Apple today has extended the number of Developers to subscribe to iTunes match the service which allows people to store imported MP3’s on iCloud and push them to all your devices. Now currently you have to be a developer to take part of this service and you have to currently be an Apple developer with iTunes 10.5 beta 8. Just hit the iTunes match and there will be a subscribe button. Yes you do have to pay the $25 a year when you subscribe and this is a United States only service. Let me know how it is in the comments or on twitter (@matthewjagiela)!

Need more proof the iPhone is coming to Sprint?

20110909-044815.jpg

Well it seems that Sprint is definitely is going to be getting an iPhone and if not then this is really weird. It seems sprint is having a sort of “blackout” do to a major phone launch between September 30th and October 15th which fits in very nicely with the current iPhone 5 announcement and launch rumors. Now I am going to be completely honest and I have no idea what a “blackout is” but I do know that the current rumor is that the iPhone 5 is supposed to be announced sometime later this month and be on sale on Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and possibly T-Mobile early October which fits in with this schedule. iPhone meet Sprint. Sprint meet iPhone.

Have Google Music? Great they just launched a new Web App For iOS!

Today Google has released a new web app for all iOS devices for their music streaming service or locker as some people like to call it. To get to the web app on your iOS device go to music.google.com and you will see the web app.  Please know that it is streaming only you cannot browse music catalogs, or upload music into the app.

Google lets you store 25MB of music in your device cache. Content is streamed from your uploaded music collection. When you open the app you can choose what you want to play and then you are taken to something like the window above.

Google Music is currently an invite service (like everything else Google Does) and is currently free for beta testers.

How to downgrade FaceBook for iPhone [Tips]

If you use the FaceBook for iPhone app a lot like me you will want to stay away from the new update for the FaceBook for iPhone app. Now you see Facebook for iPhone has a reputation for being one of the buggiest apps in the app store… This update takes it to a new level. You see they say bug fixes but it adds so many more the app can actually crash your phone. I haven’t been able to use it for more than a few seconds before it either freezes or crashes. Now if you are lucky you might be able to downgrade to the old USABLE version. It might be buggy but at least it works and to find out how to do this follow me after the break!

It is a really fun game! Full in depth view after the break!

Apple Stores beginning iCloud iOS 5 Training?

9to5mac has just posted an interesting story saying that Apple Retail stores are beginning iCloud and iOS 5 training. This somewhat shows or points to a close release of iOS 5 and new iPhone hardware as Apple starts the next major iOS training near the actual iPhone hardware launch meaning if this is true we could see the new iPhone hardware or pre-orders somewhat earlier than the early mid October bit. 9to5mac has this story in detail go check it out.
